Save the Dumpling Squishy caps servers at six players. That number is not flavor. It decides who gets the Rainbow, who blocks the stair, and whether a shove into lava is a random accident or a name you will remember. The experience is online play, not local split-screen. Voice chat is not advertised on the place page. Chat and movement are how you negotiate.

Why six feels smaller than six

The map is a kitchen. Six avatars on one lava field means you will path over the same stairs every calm window. There is no 40-person crowd to absorb a griefer. If someone body-blocks your E SAVE, the whole lobby saw it.

Empty servers (1–2 players) make Rainbows easier and floods lonelier. Full servers (5–6) make contests. For learning, 2–3 is the sweet spot: enough dumplings in the world, not enough traffic to steal every shine. Requeue after a grief streak; with only six slots, one leaver rewrites the room.

Roles that appear without a class picker

Plot sitter. Lives on height during floods so parked Rainbows are not orphaned. Best job for someone who just read how to save.

Runner. Leaves the plot in calm weather, snags shine, returns. Dies first if they ignore survive lava.

Crate hunter. Walks the Lucky Blocks route every safe window. Useful only if someone is still sitting pads.

Tourist. Joined from a thumbnail, never likes the game, stands in the smile for a clip. You cannot coach them mid-flood. Hop.

Switch roles. A good stack is a runner in calm weather and a sitter when the face appears.

Pad etiquette (the actual rules)

• Do not stand on someone else’s stair while they try to press E. The prompt needs a clear brick. Controls.
• Do not pick up a dumpling that is already seated on another plot unless the game treats it as a world pickup. Seated tycoon buns are not yours.
• Do not push people into lava at the crate. Six-player lobbies make the clip obvious and the report easy.
• Call Rainbows in chat if you want a kinder room. Do not expect a queue.
• If you land on the wrong plot after a respawn, walk off before you grab.

Breaking these rules is how you get a server that feels like a PvP game the description never promised.

Rainbow contests

S-tier is scarce. Two runners will often see the same shader. The faster grab wins; that is not grief. Blocking the only tall pad so the winner cannot seat it is grief. Let them E, then go hunt the next bun. Priority sheet: Rainbow Dumpling.

If the lobby is a fistfight, leave. The map is small enough that a hop is cheaper than an argument.

Playing with friends

Use Roblox party / follow to land in the same six-slot server. Assign jobs before the first flood:

1. One sitter on the tall plot.
2. One runner for shine.
3. One crate walker if you have a third.

Swap each cycle so nobody stares at lava for twenty minutes. Make sure every friend has liked the experience — an unliked teammate is rolling colder Lucky Blocks and will blame the wiki. Send them to Luck Boost.

If a fourth friend cannot join, the server is full. That is the cap working, not a bug.

Grief and hopping

The counter to a shover is a hop, not a script. Executors will not make six-player physics polite. If someone is farming clips by killing Rainbows, leave, requeue, like still on, pads still tall.

Report through Roblox if it is harassment. Do not trade Discord calls for “private anti-grief GUIs.”

What six-player does not mean

It does not mean co-op puzzles. It does not mean you can AFK while five strangers finish your plot. It does not mean voice-required raids. It means a tiny online lobby around a random lava timer.

New players should still start at getting started and the beginner mistakes list. Social polish will not save a bun you parked on the lip.
