Getting Started in Save the Dumpling Squishy

Save the Dumpling Squishy throws you into a grassy lobby that can turn into a death pit without a loading-screen tutorial. This beginner guide is the missing onboarding. It assumes you have never pressed E on a dumpling and that the grinning lava face is about to ruin your first Rainbow.

What you are trying to do

You are not cooking dumplings. You are rescuing dumpling squishies — the viral bao-shaped fidgets — from random lava floods, parking them on platforms so they print cash, and reaching the end of the map for Lucky Blocks. L0L GAMES launched the place on 20 June 2026. It is free, sits in Simulation / Tycoon, and caps servers at six players.

Official thumbnails already spoil the fantasy: a panicked avatar clutching a galaxy-colored bun while lava with a huge smile closes in, plus a first-person shot of a Rainbow Dumpling labeled $798B/s with an E SAVE! prompt. That prompt is the whole game.

Minute 0–2: setup

1. Join from the official Roblox page.
2. Like the experience for the Luck Boost. Do this before you explore.
3. Optional but smart: join the L0L GAMES group so patch notes are not a surprise.
4. Look around before you sprint. Mark grass versus stone versus the orange floor.
5. Do not open random scripts. You do not need them to learn the prompt.

Minute 2–5: your first save

Walk to the nearest dumpling squishy. Commons look like simple buns; Rainbows shimmer. Touch or click to pick it up, then stand on a raised stone pad or clearly safe plot. When the billboard says SAVE, press E (tap the on-screen button on mobile).

If nothing happens, you are not on a valid pad — the green lip beside lava is a trap. Step fully onto the brick. After a successful save, the dumpling stays and starts earning. That is your tycoon layer.

Priority for the first session: any dumpling is better than none, but if you see a Rainbow, drop the common. Rankings live on the dumpling tier list and the dedicated how to save page.

Minute 5–10: the first flood

Lava does not wait for you to finish decorating. It floods at random. The floor turns deadly and a face can appear in the orange field. When that happens:

• Stop hunting new buns.
• If you are holding a dumpling, get to a pad and save it immediately.
• Stand on height. Do not hug the lava smile for a screenshot.
• After the flood recedes, resume pickup.

Minute 10–15: finish a route

The description is explicit: make it to the end to get Lucky Blocks. Parking one common on the starter pad and going AFK is a slow way to play. If the crate is disappointing, confirm you liked the game. Then run again. Six-player servers mean someone else may grab the Rainbow you were staring at — path shorter, don’t emote.

Shift lock helps when you need to look back at lava while running forward. Third person makes the flood easier to read than first person, but first person is how the $798B/s thumbnail is framed — use whichever lets you see pads.

What not to do on day one

• Do not paste codes from Dumpling Squishy Race. They belong to another game. See the codes hub.
• Do not buy luck from a website that is not the Roblox store.
• Do not stand in lava because a YouTuber survived for a joke. That video is still useful as a warning.
• Do not ignore other players. They can body-block a pad or steal a Rainbow. Play polite, save fast.

After the first session

Open the lava checklist and run a second session with it. Then read updates so you know the 20 August 2026 patch exists. When you can save a Rainbow without dying, you have graduated from this page.
